What would you do if your whole life was a lie? Your family, your friends, even your identity. Anastasia does not have to wonder, because this is her reality.

Unforgiven Truths is a journey of a young woman finding out who she is, literally and figuratively. Anastasia was kidnapped at birth and her kidnapper took on the role of her mother. As Anastasia gets closer to college, her sheltered life under her mothers wing is near the end. Rose, her mother, will do everything in her power to make sure this doesn't happen.

This story is important because not everyone is kidnapped but everyone must come to grips with who they are. Anastasia's character was pulled from various life experiences that I've seen people deal with. The smothering mother, the underachieving friend who always succeeds, or even the person who should be happy for you, but always finds a way to discourage, these are all situations Anastasia must go through to become who she is destined to be.

My hopes for this film is that the Audience can bring themselves into the story and relate to pieces of each character. I want the audience to put themselves into the shoes of each character and see how the things they do may affect people. If I can open the eyes of one audience member, then I have done my job.
